EMCOR Construction Services Midwest furnished and installed a variety of audio-visual and security system components for Plymouth Community School Corporation (PCSC).
We streamlined and upgraded their security experience to help improve communication, productivity, and the overall safety of PCSC faculty, staff, and students. It equips the system’s users with the ability to view and/or operate any camera in any facility from a central security workstation.
Their new system also includes state-of-the-art anti-glare, high-resolution, and zoom capabilities. We were able to complete the installation, expand the existing door access control system, and integrate security, access, and alarm systems without disrupting school activities.
Client Objectives
Based on a needs assessment of its facilities, PCSC determined the limited capability of their existing analog security cameras put faculty, staff, and students at risk. They wanted qualified union electricians to upgrade the security system.
Solutions
We provided an integrated digital security system operating over PCSC’s ethernet backbone for nine facilities. In addition to demolition and disposal of existing analogue cameras, our solutions included furnishing and installing numerous:
- Workstations with operator interface software
- 55-inch 1080-pixel industrial monitors
- 32-inch 1080-pixel industrial LED monitors
- Network switches
- 1080-pixel 30x optical-zoom cameras
- Professional-range environmental pendant-mount power-over-ethernet mini-dome bubble camera
- Network video recorders
- Wall mounts, corner adapters, and vandal-resistant mounts
