Client Objectives
Eastern Howard School Corporation wanted to make improvements to existing facilities to support extracurricular activities throughout the district.
Solutions
ECS Midwest, along with sister companies Havel and Shambaugh, provided:
- Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design and engineering
- Installation of MEP systems and equipment
- Low voltage electrical systems
- Temperature controls systems
- Fire protection systems
The extracurricular facilities improvements project included the following work at these buildings:
- Eastern High School Natatorium Renovation
- Pool tank renovation, and new pool filtration and recirculation systems
- New pool deck finishes and equipment, including racing equipment
- New natatorium HVAC, electrical, lighting, and communications systems
- New Eastern High School Fieldhouse
- Sized for three regulation basketball courts
- Eastern High School Natatorium | Fieldhouse Support Connector
- Public restrooms, concessions stand, locker rooms, and natatorium equipment and storage
- Improvements to existing auxiliary gymnasium
- Site Improvements at New Outdoor Extracurricular Activities Complex
- New support building, including concessions, locker rooms, and six new tennis courts
- New support building, including concessions, locker rooms, and six new tennis courts
