EMCOR Construction Services Midwest provided HVAC, building automation system, and lighting solutions to high school and middle school buildings at Central Noble Community Schools.
These improvements will help significantly increase the energy efficiency of the district. Over a period of 15 years, the district is projected to save $16,130 a year in energy costs, for a total projected savings of $241,950.
Client Objectives
The client wanted to update 25-year-old HVAC and building automation equipment at two of their school buildings and, in the process, make some additional lighting improvements to further promote efficiency.
Solutions
During the project, we provided the following:
- Combined two heating plants into one central plant
- Upgraded mechanical room for both buildings
- Temperature control upgrades
- Boiler replacement
- Chiller installation
- Horizontal unit ventilator installation
- Gymnasium lighting replacement
