EMCOR Construction Services Midwest provided chiller, controls, lighting, and security system updates as well as brickwork at several facilities at Fremont Community Schools.
As a part of one of our Guaranteed Savings Contracts, the district is projected receive annual savings of $668,839 for 10 years, totaling $6,688,390.
Client Objectives
The client wanted to upgrade and retrofit the infrastructure at six buildings across their school district, with the goal of saving energy. The large-scale project required a contractor with expertise in multiple trades, as well as familiarity working in school environments.
Solutions
We performed work at an elementary school, middle school, and high school, as well as three other administration buildings. Altogether, our scope included:
- Chiller replacements
- Central boiler plant consolidation
- New chilled and hot water piping
- Variable air volume box cleaning
- Filter rack installation
- Temperature controls replacements
- Lighting retrofits
- New security systems, including cameras and door access installations
- Electrical panel upgrades
- Roofing restoration
- Retro-commissioning
- Exterior brickwork
