Value Delivered
For this client, EMCOR Construction Services Midwest equipped their high school with new HVAC, lighting, and facility control systems. We also upgraded their elementary school’s HVAC equipment and recommissioned its control system.
Performing the work under a guaranteed energy savings contract, we were able to guarantee an average savings of $183,891 in energy and operational costs each year, for 10 years. These savings were enough to cover all project costs in less than 5 and a half years, enabling our client to save more than $1.8 million total in 10 years.
We were able to complete the majority of this project while students were out on summer break, minimizing any disruption to ongoing school activities.
Our solution provides the schools with enhanced HVAC reliability and control; more effective regulation of interior carbon dioxide and humidity levels; better lighting; improved building air quality and comfort; reduced maintenance expenses; and ongoing economies, efficiencies, and investment returns.
