As Business Development Manager, Brian is responsible for all Guaranteed Savings Contract operations – staff and projects. His experience with our Guaranteed Savings Contracts as a Project Development Engineer and his previous design and project management experience uniquely equip him with the leadership to further continue the success of our team. His past responsibilities have included project development engineering and design, innovative value engineering concepts, leading-edge technologies, and in-depth systems. Brian’s experience and value span all phases of Design-Build, performance contracting, and energy-related projects.
Expertise
Brian brings over 15 years of HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration) and plumbing design experience. He began in the industry in 1993, working for a commercial contractor, and gained over five years of on-site construction experience.
From there, he attended Purdue University in Fort Wayne (IPFW). After taking a brief break in studies to follow his passion for hunting and adventure as a guide in Wyoming, he returned to finish his education and begin his career. He first worked for a local, prominent architectural and engineering firm and has worked heavily in the K-12 school market, as well as with industrial, government, and private sector facilities. He worked his way through the company and had been head of their mechanical engineering department for the last five years of his tenure.
Brian is involved with the American Society for Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), U.S. Green Build Council (USGBC), and Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
